Huskers Fired Up For Big Ten Hoops Schedule
The Nebraska women's basketball team learned its full regular-season schedule with dates for the first time on Thursday, Sept. 19, when the conference announced its basketball schedules live on the Big Ten Network.
Season ticket sales for Husker women's basketball have been on the rise during the offseason, even without a schedule to reference following a strong 2023-24 campaign for the Big Red that included a runner-up finish at the Big Ten Tournament and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Huskers finished with 23 victories and ranked among the top 15 teams in the nation with an average home attendance of more than 6,000 fans per game.
Overall, 15 of Nebraska's 18 Big Ten Conference regular-season games will come against 2024 postseason qualifiers, including nine games against NCAA Tournament teams that combined for 13 NCAA Tournament wins a year ago.
Eight of Nebraska's nine home Big Ten contests will come against 2024 postseason qualifiers, giving Pinnacle Bank Arena a big-game atmosphere from start to finish during the 2025 conference season.

Nebraska will tip Big Ten Conference play at home for the first time since the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign, when the Huskers play host to Minnesota on Sunday, Dec. 8 at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The game against the Golden Gophers, who won 20 games and advanced to the WNIT Championship Game last season, will come in the middle of a five-game Nebraska home stand from Nov. 26 to Dec. 15.
Following the home stand and a pre-holiday road trip to Georgia Tech to close the non-conference schedule, the Huskers will head to California to face UCLA (Dec. 29) and USC (Jan. 1) for the first time as Big Ten Conference foes. The Bruins (NCAA Sweet Sixteen) and Trojans (NCAA Elite Eight) both made runs in the 2024 NCAA Tournament and are expected to be in the hunt for the league title in their first seasons in the Big Ten.
The Huskers return home to battle Penn State (Jan. 5) and Michigan State (Jan. 8), as each of Nebraska's first five conference foes won at least 20 games and advanced to postseason tournaments in 2023-24. The Lady Lions won 22 games and fought their way to the WBIT semifinals, while the Spartans added 22 victories of their own to earn a berth in the 2024 NCAA Tournament first round.
Nebraska returns to Big Ten road action at Rutgers (Jan. 12), before venturing to defending Big Ten Tournament champion Iowa (Jan. 16).
The Huskers are back at Pinnacle Bank Arena to take on Wisconsin (Jan. 20), before clashing with Ohio State (Jan. 26). The Badgers advanced to the WNIT quarterfinals last season, while the Buckeyes won 26 games and advanced to the NCAA second round a year ago.
The Big Red head to Indiana for back-to-back games at Purdue (Jan. 30) and Indiana (Feb. 2). The Hoosiers won 26 games and advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen last season, while the Boilermakers advanced to the WNIT quarterfinals.
Nebraska's home February schedule tips against Michigan (Feb. 6), before a rematch with Iowa (Feb. 10). The Wolverines produced 20 wins and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, while the Hawkeyes were the NCAA Tournament runner-up for the second straight season in 2024.
The game with Iowa opens a difficult three-game stretch that includes road games at Maryland (Feb. 13) and Illinois (Feb. 16). The Terrapins earned an NCAA Tournament berth last season and battled the Huskers in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals, while the Fighting Illini were the 2024 WNIT champions.
The Huskers will play their final home games of the regular season when Oregon (Feb. 20) and Washington (Feb. 23) come to Lincoln. The Ducks will be making their first-ever trip to Lincoln, while the Huskies, who advanced to the 2024 WBIT, come to Lincoln for the first time since the 1999-2000 campaign.
Nebraska will take its second mid-week bye of the season following Senior Day against Washington, before closing the regular season at Northwestern on Sunday, March 2.
Television designations and complete tip times will be announced at later dates. For more information on Nebraska women's basketball tickets, visit Huskers.com or call the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office during regular business hours at 1-800-8-BIG-RED.
