Huskers Unveil 2027 Schedule

The Nebraska baseball program announced the 2027 schedule on Friday morning.

The 2027 slate includes eight games against five 2026 NCAA Tournament participants in Kansas, Oregon, Oregon State, South Dakota State and UC Santa Barbara.

The Huskers begin the 2027 campaign in a marquee event, as the Huskers take on UC Santa Barbara, Oregon State and Vanderbilt at the College Baseball Series on Feb. 19-21 in Surprise, Ariz. The Big Red will stay in the area for a road contest at Grand Canyon on Monday, Feb. 22 in Phoenix.

The Big Red venture south to San Antonio for the second weekend to take part in the Battle at the Ballpark at the San Antonio Missions’ Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, where the Huskers will face Notre Dame, Air Force and Army on Feb. 26-28.

In the final weekend of non-conference action, Nebraska travels for a four-game set at Pepperdine (March 4-7) before coming home for a six-game homestand.

The Huskers welcome Kansas State (March 9) in a midweek tilt and open Big Ten play with a home series against Illinois (March 12-14).

Wichita State comes to Lincoln for a pair of midweek matchups on March 16-17, while Nebraska visits Indiana (March 19-21) and Kansas State (March 23).

NU concludes the month of March with four home games against Oregon (March 26-28) and Creighton (March 30).

The Huskers head east to Rutgers (April 2-4) before hosting a five-game homestand against Kansas (April 6), Purdue (April 9-11) and Creighton (April 13).

The Big Red hit the road for seven of the next eight games, visiting Iowa (April 16-18) and hosting a midweek contest vs. South Dakota State (April 21) before making trips to Northwestern (April 23-25) and Kansas (April 27).

Nebraska steps out of Big Ten play with a non-conference series against Houston Christian in Lincoln to begin the month of May on April 30-May 2. The Huskers remain in the state, as NU hosts Michigan (May 7-9) and treks to Omaha for a midweek tilt at Creighton (May 11).

The Huskers conclude the regular-season slate with a trip to Washington (May14-16) before welcoming Ohio State to Lincoln for the final weekend of Big Ten play on May 20-22.

Charles Schwab Field in Omaha will be the setting for the Big Ten Tournament for the 10th time, having previously been the site in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2022-26.
