The McCook Community College volleyball team opened Region IX South play Friday with a 3-1 win on homecoming night over Otero College.

MCC won the first set in convincing fashion 25-10

“I thought we started off tonight really well,” said MCC Coach Hayley Kobza. “And then we just got complacent.”

The Lady Rattlers came back to win the second set 26-24 before MCC polished off the win taking the third and fourth sets 25-22 and 25-16.

“We did a different lineup today and I think it’s really worse,” said Kobza. “But we just didn’t come in and stay consistent within our positions.”
