McCook Golf Team Wins Gothenburg Invite

The McCook Bison Golf Team traveled to Gothenburg on Thursday, April 24th.  McCook would finish first place shooting a team low of a 307.  North Platte finished Runner-Up with a 311, and Holdrege finished 3rd place with a 314.

Individually for McCook - Landon Kmoch placed 3rd with a 74, Reid Loop finishes 4th also with a 74, Keaton Loop scored a 79, Kolton Koetter shot a 80, and Trenton Raile turned in a score of 82.  Full results found below.  McCook Golf Team back in action Tuesday at Holdrege.

Comments from Head Coach Ben Vetrovsky: "Another fun day on the golf course for the Bison. Holdrege was +7 as a team after nine holes, North Platte was +8 after nine holes, and we were +13 after nine holes. I was really proud how our guys responded the second nine hole and went +6 as a team to win the invite. Landon and Reid had really solid days. Once they get a couple more putts to fall their scores will be under par. Keaton Loop broke 80 for the second time this year and it is fun to watch him develop. Kolton and Trenton also had solid days on the course. It was nice to go 2-0 this week and keep the momentum we have created so far this year. We will tee it up at Holdrege next week on Tuesday."
