McCook MNB Seniors Cannot Hold Onto Lead Versus Broken Bow
McCook MNB Seniors lost to Broken Bow 17-9 on Sunday at McCook even though they once led by five runs. McCook MNB Seniors got on the board in the second inning after Ollie Corbett doubled, scoring one run. McCook MNB Seniors added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Quentin Terry hit a sacrifice fly, Trey Tiller singled, Corbett walked, and Noah Mashek walked, each scoring one run. Broken Bow flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring six runs on four hits to take a 10-5 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Zach Loy that drove in two. Owen Hartman earned the win for Broken Bow. The righty allowed one hit and two runs over one and one-third innings, striking out none and walking four.
