McCook MNB Seniors With Tough Game Against Omaha North
McCook MNB Seniors had trouble keeping up with Omaha North in a 9-2 loss on Friday. Omaha North got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jackson Flere grounded out, and S’Marious Henderson singled, each scoring one run. An error extended the Omaha North lead to 3-0 in the top of the third inning. Miles Pollmann led things off on the mound for McCook MNB Seniors. They allowed seven hits and seven runs (four earned) over six innings, striking out two and walking three. Flere led things off on the hill for Omaha North. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and two runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking none. Trey Tiller and Simon Garcia were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for McCook MNB Seniors. Quentin Terry went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead McCook MNB Seniors in hits.
