Comments from Head Coach Matt Wiemers:
Returned to the road and had a successful day in North Platte. We opened play against a much improved North Platte team. A couple close matches, but we dropped two of the three. Great match at 3 doubles where Rylee and Walker battled back from a 4-1 deficit, to earn a win 8-6.
The guys really rebounded well in singles play sweeping all six matches.
Against Holdrege the team got off to a super start taking all three doubles matches, then once again swept all six singles matches. With the two duel wins, the team has amassed a 14-1 duel record.
We hope to get the opportunity to travel east Thursdsy and Friday, but thr forecast does not look favorable. It would a big loss if we can't play those matches, as we wouls see some great competition.
