Nebraska Crop Progress and Condition Report

LINCOLN, Neb. April 7, 2025 - For the week ending April 6, 2025, there were 4.5 days
suitable for fieldwork, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Topsoil
moisture supplies rated 23% very short, 35% short, 42% adequate, and 0% surplus. Subsoil
moisture supplies rated 32% very short, 42% short, 26% adequate, and 0% surplus.

Field Crops Report:
Winter wheat condition rated 18% very poor, 15% poor, 30% fair, 35%
good, and 2% excellent.

Oats planted was 15%, behind 28% last year and 22% for the five-year average. Emerged was
1%, near 5% last year and 3% average.
