Southwest Football Preview

The Southwest Roughriders will return five starters on both sides of the ball and will look to use that experience to propel them into a deep playoff run in 2025.  

Last season Southwest finished with a record of 5-4 on the year and a playoff berth, but lost to Garden County 50-23 in the opening round.

It was announced on August, 20th that Southwest season opener with Grand Island Lutheran High has been cancelled, due to Grand Island Lutheran High cancelling there season.  Southwest will replace the game on Thursday, September 18th at South Platte.
